Crystal is a study in conflicts: shy around strangers but burdened with the Leo desire to be the center of attention, a skilled Database Administrator that can’t organize her sock drawer; a woman that is tongue-tied but filled with stories for the page. She longs to travel the world, but generally only leaves the house for errands and her daughter’s playdates.
Her career path has been equally diverse; she has worked as a waitress, a drug store cashier, a door-to-door saleswoman, the office manager of an accounting firm, and an Oracle Database administrator. She has owned a gas station in Montana, a web development company, and a clubwear store in Florida.
She has lived all over the country, moving frequently when she was younger, just because she could. She finally settled in the Tampa Bay, Florida area in 1997.
Crystal left her career in I.T. to be a stay-at-home mom, and was then inspired to revive her dream of writing. She is currently working on a dragon fantasy, but on the back burner is the first of a planned 3-book paranormal series, targeted towards middle-schoolers but entertaining for all ages. Her other works in progress are adult fiction.
